2024 FALL SEASON STARTS AUGUST 12.

Off Season Conditioning and Tryout information will be posted in June.

ALL required forms MUST be on file BEFORE your athlete participates. ALL Athletes must obtain a Blue Slip to give to their coach.  To get a Blue Slip the following must be complete.

If your child attends IA, they must be signed up under their home school for athletics. If your home school is not Groves, do not register them for a Groves sport.

1.  A current sports physical on file in the Groves Athletic Office dated after April 15 of the current school year.  Both sides of the athletic physical form must be filled out.  You can get a physical with your pediatrician, family doctor, an urgent care clinic or CVS Pharmacy.
2. Proof of Pay to Participate.  Financial assistance is available. Please contact the Athletic Office.
3. An Emergency Card filled out to give to your athlete's coach. A new emergency card must be submitted for each season. 

Once your Athlete has turned in all of the required forms the Athletic Office will give them a Blue Slip.  The Blue Slip lets the coach know they have fulfilled all of the requirements to compete and that your athlete is cleared to tryout out. 

Athletes without a Blue Slip will not be allowed to tryout.
