Spring Sports Start March 10
ALL Spring Sports start Monday, March 10. Please check for the exact start date and time of your Athlete's tryout/practice schedule, there are exceptions to the start date. All Athletes need to be registered on the Final Forms website www.finalforms.com You will be able to upload your athlete's physical, it will show “expired” until it is approved by the Athletic Trainer.The payment window for the Pay to Participate will open on March 16 once final rosters have been set by the coaches. On March 16 time you will be able to log in to your account to make the payment. Financial assistance is available, we do not want an athlete to miss out on the opportunity to participate in athletics. Girls Hockey Showcase Information
For any girls interested in playing high school ice hockey next year for the Bloomfield-Birmingham Black Hawks, there is a great opportunity to meet your future teammates with the Girls Spring Showdown. Whether you're an experienced player or newer to the sport, all skill levels are welcome. The program is committed to providing a supportive and competitive environment. The showdown focuses on skill development, teamwork, and building lasting friendships. Athletic Online Registration/Pay to Participate
New Athletic Registration Instructions Athletic registration will now include two steps. Step 1 – Registration (Now Open)Step one is the submission of all information and uploading of your pre-participation physical exam. Athletic physicals must be dated after April 15, 2024 to be valid. The majority of this information must be submitted by a parent or guardian (not the student). This registration is available now (link below). Parents need to complete the parent portion of the registration first. After the parent portion is complete, the athlete will receive an email from Final Forms with a link. At that time they need to sign in and finish the athlete's portion.After a physical is uploaded, it will show that it is expired. This is OK. The physical needs to be approved by the Athletic staff in order for it to be "current". Athletes may not tryout or practice with any team until this step is completed. All tickets for events are available online. Visit www.gofan.co to purchase tickets. Search for Birmingham Groves High School Choose the Date and Team (ie. Student/Family Athletic Activities Pass Information
Groves has a Yearly Student Athletic Activities pass that can be purchased for $40. The Student Athletic Activities pass gets the student in to all regular season JV and Varsity contests. It will also get them in to any Groves/Seaholm event, home or away. Groves also has a Yearly Family Pass that can be purchased for $100. The Family Pass covers any Groves students, all immediate family members that live within the same household (parents and siblings) and grandparents. Like the student activities pass it will get people in to all regular season JV and Varsity contests, and any home or away Groves/Seaholm event. Passes can be purchased online through the efunds system under the optional fees or by cash or check. If purchased online forward your receipt to Mrs. Right at drighter@birmingham.k12.mi.us along with a list of people that need passes. If purchasing by cash or check fill out the Family Pass

All athletes must be registered online and have the Pay to Participate completed in order to participate in athletics. Pay to Participate is not included in Booster Dues. Groves/Seaholm Unified Teams
Some of our teams are unified and made up of students from Groves and Seaholm. If a team is hosted at Groves you would find their schedule here under the season. If it is hosted by Seaholm you would find the scehdule under the Seaholm Athletic website. We have one exception, that is our Unified Girls Hockey team. This team is made up of Birmingham and Bloomfield Hills Athletes. Groves @ Mark Carpenter Invitational (5/4/24 Dearborn Divine Child)
CoEd Varsity TrackWomen’s Team Score: SIXTH PLACE! Men’s Team Score: FOURTH PLACE! The Falcons left their mark at Divine Child High School on Saturday with five meet champions, a new meet record in the shot put, an MVP award, and MANY personal bests (PR). At the end of the long day, the men's team finished 2 points out of a top-3 finish and the women finished 6th overall. Omari Hairston was named the meet’s “Field Event MVP” for setting a new meet record in the shot put of 52’5”. Ray Glory-Ejoyakah electrified (and at times terrified) the crowd and was the meet champion in discus with a throw of 146’6” (although his fouled throw of at least 170’ took out a lawn chair and sent spectators fleeing). Molly Heller was the meet champion in the high jump, setting a new PR of 5’2” as she closes in the school record 5’4”. Noah Sanders set a PR of 10.94 as he was the meet champion in the 100

CoEd Varsity TrackWomen’s Team Score: Groves 87, Berkley 41 Men’s Team Score: Groves 103, Berkley 25 Men’s team remains undefeated (3-0) and the Lady Falcons improve to 2-1 in dual meets. Despite the unseasonably cold evening, many great performances lead the Falcon teams to victories! CoEd Varsity TrackPatriot Relays at Livonia Franklin High School Women’s Team Score: FIRST PLACE! Men’s Team Score: THIRD PLACE! The Lady Falcons are the 2024 Patriot Relays Champions! They amassed 93 team points to edge out Rochester Hills Stoney Creek who had 90 points. The men’s team finished with 80 points, two points behind Livonia Franklin and what would’ve been a “double trophy” day for the Falcons!
