Summer Conditioning & Fall Tryout Information

Summer Conditioning and Athletic Fall Tryout Information Before your athlete participates in any Fall sport, they must be fully registered on www.finalforms.com and have a current athletic physical dated after April 15, 2026 uploaded. The district has a Pay to Participate fee that will be due a week after the final rosters have been set. Fees are listed after the sport’s start date/tryout information. Pay to Participate fees are separate from any booster dues you may pay. Financial assistance is available. If you are in need of assistance, please contact Mrs. Righter. If your athlete is going to miss tryouts, they need to make arrangements with the coach in advance. Summer Conditioning – Starts the week of Monday, June 15th unless noted otherwise. Football – Monday – Friday 9:00 – 11:00. Practice will either be in the weight room or in the stadium. There will not be summer conditioning the week of July 6 – 10. July 27 – August 6 is Team Camp 6:00 – 9:00pm. Team and Individual photos are on August 5. Football leaves for camp on Sunday, August 9. Boys Volleyball – Thursday and Friday, 10:00 – 1:00pm, Tuesdays 6:00 – 8:00pm. For more information contact Varsity Coach Schmidlin at Schmid_dave@yahoo.com. Pay to Participate fee is $160. Boys Soccer – Captain led practices Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10:00 – 11:30am on the practice turf. Team Camp is scheduled July 27 – 31 9:00 – 11:00am. Girls Volleyball – Open gyms start on July 6, Mondays and Wednesdays 9:00 – 12:00 in the Auxiliary Gym. Tryouts are August 10th, 11th, 12th. Freshman tryouts are 3:30 – 5:30, JV/V are 5:30 – 7:30. BU Hockey - These Summer skates are for (1) BPS returning players on the BU Prep and Varsity teams (2) current BPS high school players not on either team and (3) incoming BPS freshmen. All skates are at Birmingham Ice Arena and occur on the following dates:6/24, 7/8, 7/15, 7/22, 7/28, 7/29, 7/30, 8/5, 8/12 and 8/19. All skates will occur from 3:30 - 4:50 pm. Please note an off-ice component may be added at a later date. Players are to bring their own water bottle. Total cost for summer skates (10) is $255. Camp is for (1) all BPS returning players on the BU Prep and Varsity teams (2) current BPS high school players not currently on these teams and (3) incoming freshmen. The camp will take place on June 16th, June 17th and June 18th from 3:30 p.m. – 4:50 p.m. *Please note an off-ice component may be added to camp at a later date. All players will receive two practice jerseys, one pair of BU shorts and one BU workout shirt. Players are to bring their own water bottle to Camp. To register for Camp, please review the following information and complete the prompts found at the link below: $260 is the fee to cover all 3 days of Camp – you can pay online with registration or send a check to “Birmingham High School Hockey” and deliver to 232 Pilgrim, Birmingham, MI 48009. We will need your sizing for gear when you complete the link (will be an option when registering) – those who register earlier are more likely to receive what they’ve selected.
